impact200
The Bicentennial Student Sustainability Challenge, impact200, is a hands-on learning opportunity for McGill students and recent alumni.
Make an impact
During the Bicentennial celebrations, students and recent graduates will be invited to form teams and submit proposals for transformative projects (Bright Spots) to enhance the sustainability of our campuses, our city, and the world.
The Bicentennial Student Sustainability Challenge, impact200, will involve the creation of proposals, pitching, and mentorship*. From initial submission of proposals, 30 teams will be selected as semi-finalists and invited to pitch their proposal. Ten (10) teams will be chosen as finalists and invited to develop their projects over the summer of 2021. Winners will be announced in November 2021.
*Mentors will become available later in the challenge.

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. McGill honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we meet today.
